Scope: This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Who are we?

Private Medical has spent the last 20 years creating a new category of concierge  medicine — private medicine — by designing a system that honors the relationship between patients, physicians, and each member of the care team. Based in California, New York, and Florida, our physician-led teams work in concert with our Gynecologists, Naturopathic Medicine Doctors, curated local specialists, elite medical centers, and specialists around the world, to provide relationship focused, evidence-based, longitudinal care to our members and their families. Private Medical is, by design, privately held and free from any conflicts of interests.

Right now, we're looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in nurse education, process and performance improvement, coaching and mentoring, and auditing and optimizing clinical workflows to join our team as a Clinical Development Manager

In this role, you'll focus on training, coaching, auditing, and workflow optimization for RNs, phlebotomists, medical assistants, and other clinical staff. Acting as an extension of the medical leadership team, you'll help ensure our clinical teams deliver efficient, consistent, and high-quality patient care. While the primary focus is on education, process improvement, and clinical excellence, you'll also have opportunities to provide direct patient care while training or supporting onsite clinical teams as needed.

About you:

  • Bachelors in Nursing or other healthcare related field preferred
  • Active RN license (California, Florida, New York, Connecticut) required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in in/outpatient or multisite settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in training, coaching, or process improvement for clinical staff.
  • Strong technical aptitude with familiarity in EMR and CRM systems.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deliver both direct patient care and team training as needed.

What will you be doing in this role?

Training & Clinical Education

  • Deliver onboarding and refresher training for nursing and MA teams on EMR workflows, documentation standards, triage, and clinical protocols.
  • Reinforce best practices and ensure consistent implementation across offices.
  • Provide on-site support and direct patient care as needed during training or process rollout.
  • Develop and maintain updated training materials, reference guides, and SOPs for clinical procedures.

Coaching & Team Development

  • Coach RNs, MAs, and other clinical staff to improve efficiency, communication, and adherence to workflows.
  • Model effective patient care standards and clinical documentation practices.
  • Identify performance or process gaps and provide structured feedback to leadership.

Auditing & Quality Oversight

  • Conduct audits of clinical documentation, patient safety practices, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Analyze audit data to highlight trends, training needs, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights to the Assistant Medical Director and medical leadership team.

Project Tracking & Implementation

  • Track progress of clinical initiatives and workflow improvements, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
  • Support rollout of new clinical technologies, protocols, and quality programs.
  • Collaborate with Administrative-based CDM to align cross-functional initiatives and maintain consistency between nursing and administrative workflows.

How is success measured in this role?

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Consistently training and supporting clinical teams, resulting in improved adherence to clinical workflows and documentation standards.
  • Audit results that demonstrate measurable improvements in compliance, operational efficiency, and quality of care.
  • Successful execution of clinical projects and process improvement initiatives on time, with a measurable impact on patient care and team performance.
  • A reduced need for day-to-day nursing oversight from the Assistant Medical Director as clinical teams become more confident and self-sufficient.
  • Being recognized as a trusted extension of the medical leadership team and a go-to resource for clinical education, process improvement, and clinical excellence.

What you can expect:

  • To significantly contribute to an innovative, growing medical practice that delivers disruptive, cutting-edge, personalized medicine
  • To gain exposure to all aspects of practice development and maintaining customer relations
  • To grow professionally, creatively, and personally in a low-stress but productive and passionate business environment

What is in it for you?

  • A competitive starting salary commensurate with experience and skills
  • 401(k) with a match (up to 3% of salary)
  • Robust health benefits
  • 3 weeks of paid time off
  • 10 paid holidays off & 1 floating holiday
  • ...and most importantly more time to provide outstanding care for patients and work with great colleagues!
