About the Position
OpenLoop is seeking skilled Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioners to join our team! If you are passionate about practicing and providing patient-centric functional medicine, this position is perfect for you! As a Provider, you will be responsible for performing telemedicine consults from a HIPAA-compliant video interface. We are looking for well-spoken professionals who are comfortable with telemedicine. These candidates must have comprehensive knowledge of the endocrine system and pharmacology with a core value to provide quality patient care.
To be considered you must have the following qualifications:
Functional medicine experience and/or certification
HRT & TRT experience
Healing peptide experience
Active DEA
Must possess active state licensure in a minimum of 2 of the following states:
Arkansas, Minnesota, New Jersey, South Carolina, Utah, Wyoming, Michigan, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Colorado
Responsibilities
Review of patient health history intake forms
Review of patient lab work to identify potential care plans
Initial telehealth patient consultation to determine the need for, and specifics of, personalized HRT plan
Determine if an HRT/Medical Weight Loss plans or other treatment plans are appropriate for a patient during the initial consultation
Update patient charts
Being willing and able to use evolving technologies needed to deliver care as well as communicate both with members and internally
Abide by clinical protocol
Communicates effectively with other providers, including using comprehensive charting and messaging
Delivers patient care that balances the best that medical science has to offer, patient preferences and values, and invests in patients' future confidence and skills
Provide feedback about opportunities to improve the quality of care and operational processes
Requirements
Masters Degree, Post Master's Certificate or Doctorate in Nursing
Current national certification in family practice through ANCC, AANP or another - nationally recognized certification
Must possess active state licensure in a minimum of 2 of the following states:
Arkansas, Minnesota, New Jersey, South Carolina, Utah, Wyoming, Michigan, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Colorado
Possess an unrestricted DEA license
Experience with hormone replacement therapy and demonstrate competence in creating individualized treatment plans
3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family practice or primary care (preferred) or urgent care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding clinical expertise, evidence-based practice
Competent in providing patient education at every visit
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Timely and professional

Hours of Operation: 7am-7pm CST Monday-Friday
